A pede shaft is the axle shafts from a traxxas stampede. Honestly I don't think a pede will hold up for you...I know they don't for me. You need atleast a maxx shaft (see above but from a t-maxx or e-maxx). There is awlays the center revo shafts...or what ever you could make yourself. You may be okay with another stock shaft with the rings on it though. |
I'm running T-Maxx axle shaft sliders in one crawler with a WK trans, 55T Integy, on 10 cells, and they hold fine. Grind a bit off the yoke so it slips on there farther, and use 2 screws to hold it on at the axle. The other crawler uses Stampede driveshaft sliders with metal yokes and a 35T warrior, R2 trans, 6 cells. I had more trouble with the maxx shafts than I ever did with the pede's. The metal yokes do wallow out kind of fast, but someone that's good at building stuff, and has a nice shop might be able to make something better..... ::EDIT:: Even running the TLT axles with a Gen 3 Stealth trans, Trinity Monster Maxx Wild motor on 12 cells, I didnt have a problem with the Pede shafts. I broke axle shafts and ruined wheel hexes though. |
