I'm puttin mine together and having one hell of a time. My WB comes out to 12 3/4" and belly at 3". I'm using the "phatty" delrin links. When I first put it together my axels were clocked in pointing my axel outpout towards the ground. I put spacers in the upper links to force the axels to clock out so the output is facing up. Now the clock is correct but WB is to long.:?

I can post pics of this if it would make more sense.

Trim your links down. I'm at 12.5 WB and bout 2.3 or so in GC.

RustlerHustler 08-23-2009 06:46 PM

Trimmed down the 4mm rod ends on the phattys with the Dremel and BAM 12.5". "thumbsup" Man this thing is really pissing me off. Can't wait to get it back together and run again.

Sorry I haven't had a chance to post any recent body off pics guys, just been super busy and it's been going through a re-build.

RustlerHustler 08-24-2009 11:03 PM

Well since I can't read directions I put the axels on the wrong ends, front in back back in front:oops:

Got that figured out. WB 12.5" and GC at 2.75""thumbsup" Getting late, have to wake up in 7 hours so electronics placement will have to wait until tomorrow.

Can't wait to see the update :shock:"thumbsup":)

I just put a SWX chassis on my AX-10 after having a TCS Edge chassis, WOW is all that I can say. Very easy to install and I am now driving lines that I laughed about just a few weeks ago. Great job Bender!

When is Axial going to put this thread into print as a tuner guide for the SWX? Almost 50 pages and tons of hits....keep it going Brad"thumbsup"

Nerve 09-02-2009 04:53 AM

Hmmm, looks like today is the day the SWX was officially announced on this webpage.

So, Happy 1 year of having the SWX available.

Congrats to Bender and Axial."thumbsup"

DeweyCJ5 09-02-2009 11:33 AM

yes thanks again to Bender and Axial "thumbsup"

Mini 09-02-2009 07:27 PM

Now all we are missing is some pics.

RustlerHustler 09-02-2009 07:51 PM

Ran my first comp with the SWX this last weekend and placed 6th, best finish yet. The top five all had dig, I don't have one yet.

The chassis performed great and really helped me get some lines that impressed a few people at the comp. A huge improvement over my stock Axial chassis.

Can't wait to change out the Losi's for the new threaded Axial shocks I picked up the other day.

Thanks for designing a great product"thumbsup"

Marko 09-02-2009 07:57 PM

Congrats on the 6th place finish. Bryan Crofts is the guy to beat nowa days. Keep up the good work!"thumbsup"

RustlerHustler 09-02-2009 10:32 PM

Yeah Bryan is a great driver. Justin has been on fire also. It's nice to have such top quality guys to compete against in our local comps. Really steps up the game"thumbsup"

Hi Bender,

Question:
-Do you still use the axial CVD's and if so how are they holding up in your rig?

Thanks Brad,

Take care

ABOW 09-09-2009 06:06 PM

I was just wondering what a good suspention setup, just worndering what shocks you run? and what spring?

jimbiss 09-10-2009 11:19 AM

Sorry I haven't updated this thread in a while with fresh pics, but it really doesn't look much different from the last pics I posted. "thumbsup"

Here is a pic of the newest latest greatest thing to happen to this build though.
