DAMN that sux dude. Im willing to bet that even with crossbars if you got in enough of a bind it would happen still. I would bridge that gap front to back with a peice of something...cuz you bent the skid too...and thats thick delrin

I used two more screws the mount the skid plate on that side. Just drill and tap two more holes in the delrin skid and it will give you way more support on that lower portion of the skid. I also use top cross braces and I have gone to the TiBJ, which is bullet proof. I bent my aluminum one in the exact same spot.

There was a limited run for a select few guys.

There is also rumor that a variation of the BJ chassis will be run with some shock towers on it for sprung suspensions.

It was designed to be a droop chassis.

Thanks DD, I'm building a BJ now, I'll drill a couple extra holes for both sides and some top tubes.

I was never that much of a fan with the droop set up either.

However, this thing works awesome! I was out today and my droop set up Black Jack was doing things that no one else could do. It is so stable, it gives you confidence on any side hill or steep vert. You can concentrate on making your lines and getting through the gates without worrying about tipping over sideways or backwards on a steep climb. On slick rock, I don't think there is anything better.

Novak + Losi = chassis destroying power.

Seriously though add the braces and do what Dirk said.
