Nice looking truck with a great list of parts It is different but why go for such a low cog/belly dragger? It is very stable sitting at 2.5-2.75" of ground clearance. |

and now for some body off tech shots of the build here is the standard side shot now here is the truck with a 1x1 piece of steel pushing the truck past vert on it's side here is the battery tray slammed as low as possible on top of the driveshaft , i was able to lower it the thickness of the 3c lipo the mamba max will sit just above the battery on a removable plate that also acts as the battery hold down the mamba now sits slightly lower than the steering servo |

moving right along with the low cog theme the vf dig servo mount is just too high i was able to lower the weight of the servo down over an inch the axles were shaved so the servo plates could be lowered as well |

looks sweet but it looks like you had to cut the body to clear that ginormous servo horn...why not just trim the horn instead?

Awesome equipment list. I see you got a very nice mount on your Proline Badlands on MDS Top Gun wheels are those M2 compound? I also like where you have located your dig servo for the VF dig, I think I like that better than sitting on top of the dig unit. Looks good, I'm interested in how it preforms at that ride height but very nice indeed. Have you had it on the rocks yet?

again thank you Quote:
thanks for checkin my build out the servo horn is a hitec PN#55702 sweet steal away but the best ideas are hidden out of sight still Quote:
curious if you think the ride height is too high ? i tried to get a 3" ride height. Quote:
it's for deep water crossings thank you , it was only logical to lower that servo , i think the stock mount is for lazy folks that are of the bolt on mentality :-Pjk ... i trip off how some people just keep stacking components when there is so much open space between the axles and chassis Last edited by BoNuS LiNe; 04-07-2008 at 09:57 AM.

Does the dig servo mount in 2 places? I could see 1 but without 2 I would think it would rotate.
