New guy on the block. Been running 1:1 for about 15 years so it was only natural to start in on the little guys. picked this up off fleabay

TSC Edge chassis
Droop setup w/g-transitions 100 weight oil.
Spektrum DX3
Novak 55 w/ rooster ESC
2/3 A batteries on the front axle
HS-5645ms servos (had rear steer so i have 2)
Rover white dot (not in pics)
homemade beadlocks.
homemade foams
TCS 4-link

So far i love these things. So much fun, mabye even than the 1:1. parts are cheper and for the price of just gas for one trip on 1:1 i could have paid for all kinds of upgrades. First comp was on the 25th/ came in 5th

Here's mine, 4 days old. Old school chassis design, but proven. Only thing I'm not 100% sold on is the droop shock setup--planning on getting some 4" Pro-Line scale shocks to see how it would do. This is a Sportsman build, so no dig. This rig is about a pound lighter than most other AX10s I've picked up (maybe because of the 850 mAh batteries and lack of dig or wheel weights), so I need to change out the foams to the softest ones I can find.

This is my first ground up crawler build.
Day I got it

Now with HR dig and rear steer
I want to install internal spring shocks next, just not sure what to buy.

I have atleast 40 hours in this build.

I really like the Edge chassis. Really thinking about picking one up. Can you use BTA steering with the Edge?

I do like them. I ordered them through ebay and they were here in a week. I think the springs and oil were a little light so i stiffened them up with stuff i had. One shock is leaking but i figure ill get over it. So overall, i like them.

I have a couple of them and the Edge is a little heavy but it can be built to work really well with a droop setup.

Yup. Only a problem if you use a sprung setup with shocks shorter than 100mm eye-to-eye--the front tube will hit the servo/battery under heavy compression. Using the droop setup, it's not an issue at all, even with short shocks.

It basically comes down to your opinion but i run the Eclipse.Ilike it because its small compact, light, and doesnt waste any space, and to ME it looks cool.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
