Well, my daughters just got me a Traxxas Slash for Fathersday, so I'm thinking of making this my crawler.
What do you think? Leave it alone, or turn it into a crawler?

Hows your run times with a 2/3a pack and a 27t motor? What kind of speed were you getting out of it?

I tried running mine geared to the moon with a 35t warrior and 2/3a 8.4v pack and it was ok, dropped a 3s lipo in it and its MUCH better.

2.2 i think would be a better option for a rockracer. I like the panels. Jerry does do a great job.

WOOW great looking chassis you got there.
Just bought myself an Edge chassis, If i knew about this one i know what my choice would be..... :(

BTW i think the 2.2's look killer

Very nice. I never really cared for tube frames but that one really looks aggresive AND functional.

Us at KCRC (DMG's local club) had a rock race this weekend. There were a few alumitubers there running. Check out the video:

Nice coarse!! I don't know which way Im going with it yet. It's just been sitting. I'm working on a scale build and playing with the slash. I'll get back to it soon.

that was a kool video! I was kinda wondering exactly what the whole rock racer thing was all about. I love this truck the way it is. Im tempted to get one after this build!!
