Alright! I was wondering where that tube chassis would end up. (I didnt build it, but it's certainly cool!) Looking forward to seeing the build progress! |

| todays work/progress.
got in the artr kit from CKRC super fast!. got a sidewinder ESC and some aluminum axle c's and nuckles. took a few more screws then just from the kit i had to dig around and found some that worked. kinda just built it temp to check everything should be getting in the esc and bec sometime later in the week. running on 8cell packs up front. going to end up with flat irons on her but jusat still rocking the hammers from the kit for now. i stripped and cleaned the frame today and i am going to end up makeing new panels in a orange color scheme of some sort i havent really decided. i have all of the original stickers as the old dorkstar theme except for the dorkstar stickers pfft. lol jake at ckrc sent me a ton of stockers thanks guys! i have different springs comeing and i might end up going droop up front. has anyone used hilift internal springs in axial shocks? i have some extras laying around.... -tre some pics Last edited by akguanja; 07-31-2008 at 08:59 PM. |

| its a runner!
okay so i have 99.9% of the parts still waiting on some hxt 995 mg equivilent servos in the mail. but i did manage to get some new stuff today in and installed ST aluminum knuckles ST aluminum C's still need to get/install the CC BEC moved the bottom links inward got the panels painted/installed (still need some dorkstar stickers to finish them off) hammers have got to get changed to flat irons need to add weight in the tires. i tried it today and the rear is too stiff. so im probably going to move the super soft red's from the front to the rear and install the internal hilift springs on the fronts for a droop setup. everything else turned out pretty nice. useing a e-maxx traxxas servo temporarily on steering. heres a pic - tre |

Looks pretty sweet, the more tubers I see on here the more I want one. Maybe later hey... Not so sure about the 3-link uppers and plastic top mounts - be better with 4-link plates I think? |

| hit the rocks
okay so today i changed things around a bit first i moved the soft springs to the rear and up front i installed internal high lift springs into the stock axial shocks and got rid of the other springs. it took some doing to get stuff to work right without binding on anything had to add some tubeing and longer screws on the front bottom link mounts so they wouldnt hit the shocks which i installed upside down to keep oil in. i also added some weight to the tires. about 18 - 20 oz up front with foams/tires per side about 13-15 oz in the rear w/foams and tires per side. any suggestions on this would help alot as i am still new to all of this. thanks - tre heres some pics. |

| comp practice
so today i took my rig to our local comp site about 60 miles from my house. anyways heres the battle damage. bent the front steering link (the longer one) anyone know where to buy a delrin front link? 1 fried hxt mk12 (guess it couldnt handle the 6v from my BEC) the traxxas e-maxx servo held up to the 6v thoe for the rest of the trip. overall im compleatly happy with the perfomance everything worked as if i knew exactly what i was doing. lmfao! some locals showed up after my camera died or i would have some trail run pics. heres what i got check it out. finally got the CC BEC installed btw. - tre Last edited by akguanja; 08-04-2008 at 11:59 PM. |

| Some nice pics you took Tre. Looks like your ready to compete If your rigs doing better than Patricks, your ingood shape. Hows your drag brake? Any dead band? Double check your epas and play with your expos. IMO it looks good as is. If your comfortable with how it runs i say leave it. How are those flat Irons performing? Rocky |
