Default .....$$$$ Droop ?? .....

Hey guys...I want to thank you again for helping me decide to keep my edge chassis. But I do need help still. As I'm learning more and more on the sport of RC Crawling....I've learned I need a droop setup to make more of an improvement.
I'm hoping maybe someone might be looking to get rid of or have a set to get rid of..I know I can buy them new but you know how that goes sometimes...finances(ruff) lol

If you have one you can sell....PLEASE lmk either a PM or just a reply....
THANKS

Are you looking for shocks? Kinda confused here. "Droop" is not a system you can just purchase as a kit.

If you have the stock AX10 shocks, remove the outter spring.... head to ace for an assort ment of springs and find 4 that are small enough to fit inside the shock body under the piston. This is a droop shock.

Droop dosn't make a crawler better, it's a personal prefrence and terain has alot to do with it as well.

its just the reviews and some posts I read on the Edge chassis....they suggest droop because of the high flip over rate this chassis has..really top heavy and some droops I've seen help keep the front down...
I know its preference but I'm still learning and will take all advice...but I think a droop might help me..

Just any small springs that will fit inside should work. THink of MLST's or anything else. Like I said, ACE has a box of assorted springs that should get you started.

Yepper, I don't know jack about droop, but I do know that you can go to Ace or somewhere like that and get a bunch of assorted springs to make your current shocks droopers for MUCH cheaper than you could buy something pre modded off of somebody else

okay. so you just slide the spring on the shaft or put spring on top of piston. Trying to clarify. thanks.

Ace Hardware has the best selection IMO. Just ask an employee or find Century Springs. And since they are pretty cheap pick a few packs up to figure out what best suits your liking. Keep this in mind...The heavier your axles are, the heavier the spring you want, and vise-versa.

Ace is the place!!! I use the Century Spring C-608's for droop and they've worked well

Inside the shock, under the piston. This way it keeps the shock compressed.

How else are you going to keep the shocks from unloading then?

It does and it doesn't... really depends on the strength of the spring you use.

I haven't messed with a droop setup yet but I have some Revo shocks and I've test fitted them with RC18 springs inside and they fit perfect.

not just putting the spring in the shock body, making sure to put it in the shock body around the shock shaft under the piston.

i know it sounds weird and doesnt make much sense when ur trying to picture it your mind. i know when i was first experimenting w/ droop the whole time i was taking apart my shocks i thought "the shock fully compressed while at rest? this is never gonna work"

but it's one of those things that you have to try out for yourself and like many have said its all about preferance, and the time you're willing to invest into tuning your suspension
