Yeah me too, I am going to work on a 4 link set up as soon as some more progress gets done. Maybe make a new plate out of delrin?

I got the Hitec 7950 TG installed finally and shortned up the lead to the RX! The Axial BTA kit is awesome pretty good turning radius! And was a cinch to install.

I am running the Futaba low profile servo for the VP hurtz dig. Pretty smooth operation and was one of the easiest digs to install.

I am going to give the Rover EX's a shot. They seem pretty sticky, I mounted them up to some 1" VP SLW V2's NiCe!!! And I am running the 600 hubs

I managed to fit the CC BEC, Tekin FX-R, Spectrum Micro rx on a small tray made from lexan that is stuck to a Delrin standoff that came with the chassis. After shortening the leads it worked out pretty well.

I am using the Holmes Hobbies 35T handwound and it screams!!!

Also threw on some VP straight axle adapters. They look sweet.

Looks nice Carver

Did you make the rear 4-link mount? I have never seen one like that on an Axial before.

The mount is from CDW (Crawler Design Works) I am not sure if he is still making them or not. It works pretty good. I actually got it as low to the axle housing as possible by cutting the posts down.

Thanks sneed, it will be a great comp rig. It is probably the best investment towards winning. I should have my super 300's here soon. Honestly I can't wait for them. I also need to order some wider hubs from VP, the 600's still make the tires rub hard on the shock and I lost two spring cups in less then a minute on the rip rap.

Awesome build Carver! I have been drooling over it since page 1. Infact, this thread made me totally re-think my own build. I'm new to RCRC, but hooked just the same. After all the great info on this site, and watching builds like yours, I should have a better idea of building something more capable. Thanks again for the great thread!
