I personally like the r2d over the axial. The R2D is small, you do not have to have the servo way up high, this lower your COG. That is just my 2 cents.

I like Axial Tranny with DNA dig but it is all personal preference

both ways are nice but I personally like the axial with dig setup. Theres no way to run a slipper cluch on the R2D trans.

I like the way the DNA Dig is all enclosed and protects all the moving parts. I takes a little time to set up but once you get it set up is extremly smooth

DNA All Day!! lol Better for wheel speed, enclosed, wider range of ratio changes and slipper. DNA you for!! Oh and you dont have to have the servo on top Look here to see my low CG dig servo mount |

dna all the way, some of the local comp guys use the r2 and like them, so really i guess its whatever you prefer.
