hey whats up man nice chassis! but i already get the scale look and feel from my tamiya highlift! and 3speeds isnt bad! but i wanted something scale with more articulation that the highlift and other scale chassis dont offer (frame rail type rigs) so heres my creation...

it needs hood work

very nice!

How much did you shorten the wheelbase by? also correct me if im wrong are you using a 1/10 hpi body? The reason i ask is because i want to do the same thing for a AX10 project as well

thanks man, this is something anyone could do with a stock ax10. only fabraction is the wheelbase and finding a place to mount the upper wishbane link.

stock wheelbase is: 12 - 12.6"

for this project i got them to 11 1/2'' .

but to get a better look then mine 11inches will look best. the reason i didnt achieve the wheelbase i wanted because i didnt wana cut the lower links.

whats your plans for your project?

Ohh I didn't know what you ment about "bull bar" lol its cool though. We all have our different words everywhere I geuss...

Well that bull bar I'm guessing your reffering to the front green aluminum stearing link? It comes stock with the kit mate! lol The ax10 kit comes with all the cool parts that the Ready to Run doesn't offer...

Do you have the RTR?

Ohh! Ok I got it.....

That blue land rover isn't mine. Also I had no clue what a "bull bar " was. So I got cufused on what he was talking about. I thought he was talking about my rig.... since I didn't know what he was talking about. But I can't asnwer your question best becuase I'm not the onwer of the blue land rover. But I could tell you it DOESN'T come in the kit. Its eather custom made or came off another truck.
