for that price you'd be better off buying a hot racing dig or a DNA

Picked one up today, very solid unit. Nice and open allowing for just a touch more space also, as fit can be an issue. Aluminum driveshaft included, very nice touch. Going to install in a while. It is also cheaper then dna. Very impressed so far.

Do a nice review on it please. I've been curious about it and noone seems to have actually tried it yet and posted up about it's functionality.

I like the dig collar idea and this looks good. It keeps the cog lower but with the R2D II and the Losi tranny coming out I think it's worth going for front and rear dig. Shaftys got some catching up to do with the MOAs and dig on both ends only makes sense to me.

Installed mine last night fits sweet easy to use and very well made it came with every thing you need servo plate, servo linkage & alloy drive shaft.:-P The only thing i can say against the kit is its made for a stock height AX10 my AX10 has a lowered ride height and the supplied drive shaft bottoms out if the dig is in the lock position and articulated. No biggy generally your on fairly even ground when the rear is locked. Tried the RC4wd R2 tranny with a dig and its was a pain to set up & kept getting locked in the engaged position this dig is definatly a better design. |

Been running mine everyday for the last 5 weeks and have had no issues so far, very well made unit easy to adjust and not to bulky an all in one unit. Will work on a review and pics over the weekend. |

I bought 1 of these digs along with quite a few others up here. Installed it correctly and right from the start, there were binding issues. It would not disengage from locked possition!I tried everything and still it wouldn't work properly!Took mine back to lhs and they returned it,along with every other unit they had brought in.I was told 1 out of 85 worked!! Bad design,I believe.I paid 90.00 for it.It looks good and is easy to install, but it didn't work worth a damn. Got me a dna unit, and with a little care when mounting it works sweet. |

Xblade: chances are that it was too tight when installed. i tried screwing the two silver post first and then slowly bolted it to the dig

Iīm a little disappointed, too. After some sanding an a bunch of grease i almost got it working. What i really donīt like about it is the bearing. Itīs busted already. I think somebody wasnīt to easy on it pressing the bearing with the metalparts together.

i've had one for about 2 months and it is a solid piece. it does require you to swap the tranny around and even though the dig had options for a micro servo, you need about 44oz of torque. i use a hs-625mg, does a great job. you will need to purchase a smaller servo arm, i had an extra one from a kyosho mini inferno 09 and it worked like a dream. fitting is an issue as i had to relocate esc and rx, but worth it.

IRON MAN: nice. i just use a s3003 servo lying around. it fitted inside my chassis which is about 2.75 inches thin. but im still having problems with the servo horn being too long. il try to experiment on it tom. |

I'm shopping for a dig now. I'm looking for one that I will not need power tools ard heavy equipment to install and get working right (all of my tools are in storage and the Navy frowns on the use of power tools in the barracks :-(). Of the three digs I have taken a hard look at (DNA, FT, and this one), it sounds like this is the easiest to install and get it to work right. Any thoughts on this? Thanks. |
