received the 3racing Dig today, Its the worst piece of rc I've ever seen, touched and tried to get it working... I spent hours trying to tweak, grease, add spring, it just binds, in both ways. forget the servo, I couldn't even move it with my hands.. I would really like to see someone who got it to work prove it can actually work. Who uses copper or brass for bushes?! that's crazy!!! no wonder they offer free shipping... the shaft is too short to be used as a replacement for those without a dig or on the other end.. completely useless US 54 gone. If someone has got one tell me what you've done to it

My 3Racing dig works Flawlessly. The only thing I added was 2 springs from some Hilift shocks to the shaft that the slide moves on. full spring on the long side and about 5/8" of another on the short side (the length of the shorter seems to be more critical). Oh yeah, a little lube helps alot too.

It works GREAT!

just got mine and it keeps binding ,whats worse i cant get to it easily...
mounted in a scaler and pretty well hidden behind panels n electronics
so im gonna have to pull it ,get it workin ..all the time, n put it back
..the problem does seem to be in the guide bar and the fact that the pushrod mounts is away from that...also 2 push points would be better imo

I tried springs from a pen before i posted previously too, could you please up a foto for us Burpsa? that would be greatly appreciated.. Last night I tried using an aluminium plate mounted with a 2 mm screw instead of the ball link(on the big bearing piece) trying to achieve a near perfect sliding movement. I worked a little better but would still bind. Will try the springs tonight. I'm glad there is a fix! thanks
