Should I keep the shocks how they are or move the further back a few holes?

you have a SWX, you are now beyond the bentlink bullshit. they are more trouble than they are worth.

search around the forums, this place is chock full of ideas.

Lookk at the dudes rigs who are bonafied rc pros. vert few bent links. Bender Designed the SWX with the strait links for good reason.

c'mon Bob... bent links give you an advantage. Of course they WON't matter when your drive line is sticking out like a sore thumb, but just to say that bent links are some bullshit is well, some bullshit.

If you look at the top drivers, most of them are berg rigs and with setups without a 20* clocked front axle that doesn't work well with bent links.

moving them back will lower your ride height stance

not sure about performance advantages with the SWX

Depending on what you're doing with your crawler weather you need ground clearance or a good center of gravity, you can adjust your ride heigth to the terrian. Personaly I like my shocks in the upper third hole. This helped by lowering my ride height a good amount to where it needed to be, which seems like a good all around heigth.

Also the more you lay back your shocks the more suspention travel you can get...
