IMO skip the traxxas shafts and go straight to MIP, the problem with plastic shafts even when they do stay together is they scratch on the rocks and don't slide in and out smooth anymore and cause a bind in suspension movement. the hardened MIP's seem to stay butter smooth.

The same thing happened to me on the first weekend I had my AX10, mine is a kit ax10 however, not a rtr or rtc. I wasn't in a bind either when it snapped, just running around in the front garden. I glued mine with plastic cement, and it's held up fine, figure that out if you can. I tried gluing just as a laugh, never expected it to hold. I have junfac metal shafts ready to go in however, hopefully they work ok. |
