The thread choked me up.

I think about stuff like this all the time with my kids. I lost my sister to leukemia when we were young so it is always nice to see people looking out.

Congrats.
You guys should both have a PM with your ticket numbers!!

rbwdriven - Sorry to hear of your loss. That is truly heartbreaking.

Lester - you made a purchase of 1 ticket but didn't include your RCC username - please PM me!!

We are at $75 now!! Thanks to all those that have donated parts and to those that have bought tickets!!

We do still need a few parts and if you think you can help out please PM me and we can talk.

Got a few parts in the mail including the chassis so look for an update tonight or tomorrow!!

So tonight I just mocked up the axial tranny and drilled the holes in the skid. mounted the tranny and set the dig by it to give everyone a rough idea of the look of it.

Heath, you are correct, we are at $80 raised so far!! Thank you for your support in this cause and for donating these great things to make the build go so much smoother. This mini-mat is great and I may have to buy one as I will really miss it after this build is done and it is raffled off!!

Couple of updates for tonight. Got the package from 210solomon007 with my dig for my personal rig in it along with the mount and hardware for this build!! Another great vendor there!! Have everything mounted in the below pics!!

I don't really think this thread is worthy of being a sticky even though it is for a great cause!! Stickies are for great tech threads that can help everyone out whereas this build thread is full of older tech. Thanks for the thoughts though.

Autism now affects 1 in every 110 American children. This is just the statistics for America, but you have to understand that this is a global concern! I have a great website that shows what your state is doing for autism. Unfortunately, It is only for the United States and not for other countries. If you have webpages for other countries please feel free to post them up. Thanks!!

You definitely should!! I am gonna get one for myself once this build is over. Not only is it a great mat that works and looks good, Heath is a great guy to work with and is very helpful!!

On a side note, Moo-Tor motor/electronics cleaner works great on electronics!! Kids spilled pop on the wife's laptop and I used it to clean the motherboard...cleans off the mess and dries fast, leaves no residue. Just another use of these great products!!

Ok, Quick update!! Got the rear axle bearings in the mail today from rc_dirtslinger, so I went ahead and put the rear axle together! Didn't get a rear lockout kit so just did it with the steering knuckles like in the kit. Will work and can always be upgraded later!

So here is the question for those that have bought tickets and are gonna buy tickets. I have a chance to trade the Integy Droop shocks for some T-Maxx plastic big bore shocks. Let me hear what you guys want and that is what I will do!!

Some update pics!

Now this cannot be beat right here....Brian does awesome work and is actually painting a body for my personal rig now as well!! This alone is worth more then the $5 ticket price if you were to win!!

I believe we will be drawing around the 2nd week in Feb so don't wait too long to buy tickets!! thanks for everyones support!
