On 6-cell Elite 1500's it gets around 30 minutes, give or take, depending on how throttle happy he is.

So, I need new treads on this one. I was thinking of something more scale, like the Pro-Line Super Swampers or Axial Ripsaws. Anyone have thoughts on this?

I'm sure both of those would be great choices. You should also consider some Rok Lox. Good performing tire and they are pretty tall.

If your ESC can handle 8 cell split packs, I have two available since I'm "all lipo" now. Elite 1600's (2/3 sub C axle mount ready), great shape and priced right .

As for new tires I vote TSL's, although firmer foams might be needed. The stock setup is pretty mushy. The Ripsaws look pretty similar tread-wise.

Great to see you back on RCC, and hopefully we get to see this rig in person sometime.

Hey TrailDawg, shoot me a pm about those packs. I'm running a Sidewinder in there, so it should handle that just fine.

I had this one out at High Cliff, but didn't run it much because of some setup troubles. I'll make sure to have it with me next time I'm out that way.

Correction: 2/3 "A" size, I also have the axle mount plates.

Finally got it updated a little for him. I'll probably get some more scale 2.2" tires before long, but I mounted up my Mayhem DP / Rover combo for him. Also got Losi Comp shocks and changed up the links for a much more "belly dragger" setup. Just have to get the batteries mounted up and it'll be good to go.
