| DMG C-10 Truckee build for my son
My son and I have been working on converting a pretty much stock AX-10 roller to a DMG C-10 Truckee. So far, I'm very pleased with the build. Anyone have any advice on the shocks? It's all bolted to a Reign Widemouth chassis. We stuck a Sidewinder and Tekin 55t motor in it. I'm also going to be putting split packs on the axles instead of running the battery weight up high in the cab, but he's just absolutely thrilled with it. Now I just have to teach him that there's a position on the throttle between stop and full! Right now, I just need to strap down the front link plate with the ESC on it and tidy up the wires a bit. Then we'll be ready for a little crawling this weekend! |

The world needs more fathers like you. I remembered eveything my dad done with me when I was little. It shapes your childs future. I'm jealous.

It's a great setup, Zorlac. He's loving it and I'm fairly impressed that it's a lot more controllable than the stock tVP setup. Well, we worked on the concept of "slow" and throttle control on some small sections of garden rocks. Was pretty ok, until he go excited the threw the radio (DX3S) and snapped the antenna hinge. I was able to keep my lid from blowing, but almost lost it. I can't tell you how many antenna's he broken since he was really little and I thought the short DSM antennas were safe. |

Hey, his rig looks better than some of mine . Were you planning to bring it to the GTG? We should have no problem finding some challenging terrain for it, looks great . |

Awesome Nate! Glad to see it up and running! Looks like he's enjoying it! Nice touch with the Army decal. I know how fun it is to get the kids involved, I just bought my boys and I short coarse trucks. What a blast! |
