my berg clearly doesnt have any
my mini does but its locked down
and my scaler doesnt either...in my opinion u dont need one unless u race

I run mine, I set mine lose to save parts, it has even helped a few times bumping it off the slipper. Helps me learn to drive instead of worry about parts.

If I was compin I would set it tight and watch it, or If I had all the upgraded axle, driveshaft and tranny parts then I would take the slipper off and let it fly.

i was a big fan of the slipper...till my last comp... started slipping and would not stop...put a new one in (the $29.00 kit) cranked it down and it would slip too...any guesses what i ordered on Monday ? i am running a goat 2's and never had any trouble till that weekend

Ditch the sliper, get Robinson Racing spurs and pinion, I run mine on 3s LiPo 50c from maxamps, Holmes BR-XL and JPHracing.com 41t handwound motor Have not had gear failure for over a year, or just plain drive smart and spare your drivetrain.

I just finally blew the stock plastic spur after a year of running 3s powered HH Pullers. And really it only died because it got rocks in it. I've since switched over to Kimbrough plastic spurs that aren't too bothered by things like that...
