If you aren't going to do it, I guess I will. Maybe we can collaborate.
Let me know what you come up with....Collaboration, not Litigation

I really like the bug bodies, which is what inspired this.

I think the frame only pics is throwing people Richard...It's actually just a bit over legal length, and just barely over legal height. I should have put an FF-4 side plate in for reference.

That is where I'm in question. I'm going to talk to someone tomorrow who can shed some more light on this aspect of the rule.

Like I said, this is all prototype and subject to change. Just trying to figure out if there is any interest or not

Interest or not, I'll take a set in delrin, to fit on an FF-4 once you figure the math out

That looks sweet.
If you need a gunea pig, I have a FF4 chassis rig that I would put under the knife.
Keep us updated.

I would love to see that comparison pic with the FF-4.

What width skid are you planning to go with? Am I going to be able to get my ham sandwich in there?
And I know that it is still pretty early in the process, but whats the weight of this pig?

X2 I'd be interested but only after seeing it as a full build myself. I'm still very happy with my GC-2 but not having a body is a pretty big advantage. It looks really good.

The FF-4 was the sole chassis design that made me thinking about retiring the slingshot.
Now I am just certain.

I got it rolling tonight with the parts off of my FF-4. It had to come apart for a transmission rebuild, so it was perfect timing.

I misinterpreted the 1" cockpit rule, but with some help from Grizzly4X4 I got it figured out...thanks Chris . Should be a very easy fix, and I'll lower the roof a bit more as well.

I also have some 1/8" black Delrin, so the next run will be with it. For now, I'm going to run it as is. It's sitting a bit high, so I plan to set the ride height after I get everything into it.

Juan.. I'd be in for this... I'd like to see the wide skid option so that I could run my LCC tranny and axles on it...

Oh hell yes!! Looking good Juan.

Are you planning on doing the entire chassis in delrin or just the top/cab part?

Also, any plans for roof or body panels?

I would not worry about offending or bunching up the panties of any Juice driver. That thing looks all it's own. Killer!!!
I can think of an MOA chassis I'd like to stick that cab on. Come to think of it, you could retro that onto just about any MOA chassis. I'm interested is seeing what the cab section will sell for.

if you sell just the top section i would definently get it! it looks awesome juan, in the pic with the ff4 next to it it looks like the holes line up pretty good so i dont think making it fit would be too hard.
