Big Ski,
Which scale is that and did you have to alter the wheel base eny?
That one looks pretty sweet.
The one im using is a 1:16th or 18th I think and its about a 9inch wheel base and it looks ok but ive had to hack up the back end and cut the front fenders off and follow the diagnol lines in the hood.
It dont look to bad and the bodie sits or can sit low enough to crawl.

I'm not sure what the scale is, but it is the Tamiya Humv from the kit version. I had to 'adjust' the wheel openings in the body, the wheelbase was stock AX-10. I still have that body in the basement, I'll never use it again.

Definitely down for a little Army Marine rivalry (Army 2 years Active Duty 19D) And the reason you aren't hearing alot of OOORAH's is because jar heads do not know how to type it out they just grunt it. HOOAH!

I really like the HMMWV build idea and if you find one that works let me know I have been contemplating something like that for my next build.

Yeah for sure, I will update when I figure out what to do. I looked for model bodies and/or kits and I can't find much. A lot of the scales are in the 30's and even 1/72. I have even searched just "model hobby" forums but everything seems small. I'm keeping my eye out for a Tamiya body, hopefully I can find one, paint it and put a Screaming Eagle on the side lol. If worse comes to worse, I will build my own from scratch, I'm determined lol

Army- be all you can be, if that's all you can be.... didn't anyone ever tell you how un-wise it is to mess with Marine grunts?

"Next you are gonna tell me that the ARMY Rangers are responsible for catching Noriaga!"

"There Are Two Types of People: MARINES and Those Who Wish They Were."

"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference. The MARINES don't have that problem."

A Marine and an Army dog were standing in the head having a piss, and they both finish up. The Marine just starts to walk out, and the Army dog says "In the Army, we were taught to wash our hands."
The Marine replies, "In the Marines, we were taught not to piss on our hands."
