| Best chassis and wheel upgrade for AX10
Hey all, i got my AX10 Scorpion and i'm just waiting on my motor to rock up. Just wondering, what is the best sortof chassis to get? i have seen heaps and heaps of pics but is there a really good chassis that lots of people get instead of the AX10 standard chassis? something that uses all the AX10 running gear and links? Also, what are some good metal beadlock wheels that dont cost heaps? or do they not exist? i was looking at the proline titus (even though there plastic), but i dont know if i should spend more and get alloy ones. please let me know what you run on your axial.... thanks Alex |

I have the MFM black widow chassis and frickin lovin it. It uses all the same gear like upper links and it comes with lower links and it's pretty cheap too I think i paid $55 bucks Canadian probbally cheaper for you if your in the states. I'm running the Titus rims with the tunner weights and there nice to work on it's a three peice rim less screws to mess with. I've been running mine since they came out and there awsome. Hope this helps you out everyone will have a different opion on what's the best. Mine's brought me to victory lane many of times and a season's championship. |

I'm currently building up a MSD hybrid, it is a awesome chassis. Check my build thread for pics. Yes alloy wheels are worth the investment, no more stripped wheel hexes |

I have MSD hybird chassis, but haven't build it yet. Very narrow profile. I really enjoy my Dna slingshot. It works very well. As for the wheels, I have vanquish r2, dna assaians and eritex comp heavies. I like them all.

I think one of the best bang for the buck (not the best) set up would be the mayhem chassis http://mayhemengineering.com/Chassis.html and eritex wheels. http://eritexinc.com/zencart/index.p...products_id=25 |

wow, thanks heaps guys. Seems there are lots of opinions as i thought there would be. This gives me a bunch of brands to look at though and make my decision from there. Once i get everything sorted, i'll make up a build thread. I'm in Australia so have to wait a while for parts though :( thanks again Alex |

Is it better for me to buy a new chassis like the Bender etc or to get the longer posts and screws/springs etc from this thread: http://www.rccrawler.com/axialcompbuild.html i suppose if i get a chassis then i wont use the longer posts on that.... |
