Awesome build i like it a lot.

A couple of things that may help. You have mentioned beef toobs already, but you could probably use a set for the rear as well, Super 300's to gain more steering angle and the strongest CVD available for an axial, VP Zero ackermans will also help with the steering. Your tyres still seem a bit hard. Maybe hit up crawler innovations for some custom foams to suit your application a little siping could help too.

This thing is bad ass. Nice fab work. I highly suggest installing some Gunnar/Jones Beef Toobs front and rear to stiffen up those weak axles. Especially when you consider all the additional torsional flex those axle wideners provide.

A set of Twin Force axles would cure the weakness issue And a set of revo shafts. Everything else looks great

Yeah, it's a struggle with "trade offs" i wanted wider Axial axles, but am asking the stock axle shafts to work a lot harder.

Hmmm, got me think'in. Already building Maxx shafts with old style 5mm yokes, and have some Revo shafts that i would have to do a "maxx shafts made easy" on right? Or what yokes would work with Revo shafts?

Googl'in Twin Force right now!

Love it!

My only suggestion would be to sipe sipe sipe!!! Maybe even get into the tire carcuss a little. It will soften them up!

Thanks. That was my first ever vid. For some reason (wind or cow etc.) some of my pine trees lean over. It's tricky going back down in reverse.

Thanks. Yeah, i'm planning on venting, soft foam and siping. i started thinking that maybe the "trencher" 5B tires may have been the way to go. They are taller and have less voids.

By the way, i have beat the crap out of this truck for the past 2 days to see what would give. The rear drive shaft set screw loosened up and the tapping screws on the stock C's will not stay tight. Both these problems will easily be taken care of by the previous suggestions in this thread.

What i am amazed by is that the Axial tranny and axles on this truck have taken a pounding and are fine.

Finally got some Wraith axles. What this rig needed. Just mocking stuff up, but i had some RC4WD bent rod ends and delrin rod i'm trying out. Needs more beef, but the driveshafts can definately clear on the left side. I'm running a VP dig.

Not yet. i used to post my vids with photobucket, but this new "click to view SAME size image" wiped out the vids. What's up with that?

i'm making a chassis extension for the front shocks now, and the PVC links i made are binding at the chassis and at the link mounts on the axles (the revo ends rub on the shock ends).

i need to make a new set of links and maybe outboard the shocks.

What th...i think i wrench more than drive.
