Looks fun. How wide is it with the axles and those wheels you have on there?

^^ you need axle wideners to run those wheels or they rub on everything.. a friend has them on the stock ax10 axles and is running 15mm widerners front and rear.

oh and rig looks better than i thought it would!!! how does it perform on the rocks??

Its more of a ripper than a Crawler. Its performs well but it hauls ass and is a lil top heavy. I will post some pics of my crawler.

I have been thinking about trying the OCP axles, but I'm hesitant to dump money into a set for them to be worthless on a Comp rig. I was thinking of using the XR wheels also to keep the width from being to wide. How does it perfom? How well does the tranny fit? I already have a Wraith tranny OTW, hoping to use the DIG once available, to replace the heavy DNA unit I'm using now.

11 and 3/4 " wide is very wide for a 2.2 rock crawler. That's still falls inside the legal requirements, but as soon as you comp that rig it's going to feel like you are wheeling in a 1.9 course.

Yea this isnt my comp rig. The tube chassis rig would be the one id comp with. The wraith axles are pretty wide but keep it stable, and one day i might go brushless with it for more speed so stability was more my issue when building it.

With the XR wheels it is only 1/2" wider than stock AX wheel/axle combo right?

My ax10 with the warthog chassis and ax10 axles/wheels is only 10" from outside of tire - outside of tire. That makes it 7/8s" less on each side. wraith axles with xr10 rims = 11 3/4"

Ah, that would make it 1.5" wider overall for me. My current width is 10.25".

I swapped over From the rovers to the axial ripsaws. I love em and they shaved a lil width off my crawler.

So I just added the r2 tranny & greesed it. Is it supposed to be kind of a louder tranny than a stock axial? Im getting a whinning noise from mine and not sure why.. I greesed the gears pretty good.. maybe my pinion gear is too tight???

So ripsaw vs HB rovers? What do you like better? Why? Thank you.

The ripsaws seem to hook up better for crawling .. I do like the rovers but the side walls seem too flimsy.

Good idea, I am not a fan of my Wriath at all, and I just bought an ax-10 because I was sick of saying I have never tried one when I was in a Crawler king ax-10 comparison thread, butI am not a fan of the ax-10 either, I am done buying Axial stuff, but I may just need to frankenstein them together to get a rig that is actually worth using over my 100 times more fun modded Crawler Kings.
