I am running 4 oz. in the front I believe, it's really working good for me. It really depends on what wheels your running, your driving style, and a few other factors. Some people run a bunch, some people hardly run any. I'd suggest starting out with 2-4 oz. in each front and going from there. I also run about 2oz. in the rear with stock wheels. I have no weight in the front or rear right now and it's balanced about 60/40. All of my electronics are on the front axle or very near to it.

I run 5 1/2 oz in each front and 2 oz in each rear. My truck stays planted to the rocks well. It fits a slow approach very well. I think that the majority of it is preference though. Experiment and find out what works for you. |

| Re: How much weight? Same here. No weight in the wheels, electronics up front, battery in the back, and about 10oz of knuckle weights to balance it out.

I run DH's up front with 3.3oz of brass in each one. Then in the rear I have SLW's with no additional weight, except for the "beef toobs" in the rear axle housing.

Boy, between losing weight in the front wheels*, and jettisoning my 9 cell NiMh, going to small LiPos, I'm really going to need to look for ways to get some serious ballast weights on that front axle! * I know I said the new wheels were heavier than stock, but remember, my wheels aren't stockers anymore either. The new wheels alone are roughly 137 grams (ea.) lighter than my now modified front wheels, if I did the math right. | ||
