|  Hot Racing Delrin skid plate question
I purchased this skid plate. Hot Racing Axial Scorpion Crawler CNC Machined Delrin Center AX10 DSCP13305 | eBay When i try and mount my transmission and motor onto the skid its hitting the little tabs on the inside. Am i supposed to use some spacers or something to raise the motor and tranny? |

Check out East End Machining (EEM) for some cool delrin skids for the AX10 or SCX10.

That is a real bad design!!You would be better off putting your money towards a new chassis that has a delrin skid and is half the size of that one!! Hot racing is not known for making good parts and I know this from experience!!

I had a similar design and it is not good. You have to shim the tranny up to clear the upper link. And I snapped mine on a fall. Nothin to crazy I still drove for a little before we stopped and I seen the break and said "so that's what that sound was!"

I ended up trimming down the tabs so they are smooth with the rest of the skid and it worked well. Didnt really wanna shim anything.
