Default Who is running an Evil Crawlers Design "The Ringer"

If you are running "The Ringer" please post up some pics. I'm waiting on mine to show up. I've only seen a few pics and I'm wanting to see some other options for mounting up electronics. Thanks.

I am. It was worth every penny. Keep in mind that I built this in 15 hours total from scratch to run at a comp and probably won't keep everything electronics where it is at but it actually worked well as it was and pulled lines I never would have thought it would do.

Here are a few pics of mine:

It was the mount I ran on my old sporty. It allowed me to run a bta steering setup with VP knuckles and chubs with no other modifications. All I had to do was switch sides with the knuckles and run the link mounts behind the axle instead of the front.

Basically I just kept it because I liked it. The one that comes with the kit works well too. I have 3 friends running this chassis and they all use the mount that comes with the full kit.

Not to mention it gets the servo out of the rocks!

Yeah that is also an added bonus! It doesn't hit anything and I run the TMAXX shafts on it and it even clears those.

I've been running one for some time now. I must say , this chassis flat out works. Im still running our prototype side plates. Just haven't updated it to the production ones yet. I run the same servo set up Steve does but I tucked my bec & esc under the servo plate next to the servo where a 450 to 500mah battery was originally designed to go. I can take some pics and post up a little later if you like?

We've talked about offering the servo plate as an optional piece to purchase but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Keep in mind, if we did....we would not be able to include the tie rod or servo rod. Too many variations on knuckles, C's set ups. I'll try to take a bunch of body off shots of my set up later on tonight for you.

Yeah making the tie rod wouldn't be a problem...I'd just rather not buy the materials and such to do the work with the carbon fiber.
