Default bashin boxer build

Well I got my grocery list from Barry at ccc so I can stay time to build me a shafty I'm pretty excited I haven't ever comped in the sporty class but I believe it will be as much fun as 2.2 pro.


Parts include:

Chassis boxer by CCC
Axles. Ax10 with CCC mod tubes to be able to run xr universals
Trans. Ax10
Motor. 30 turn brood
ESC. Fxr

Well I'm getting some where just waitin on shocks and hubs and I'll have a roller I did get trany and moter. mounted chocker collers installed on rear axle and bolted it together check out the geo of the uppers with the CCC chassis and link mount plates it is as close to the same as possible

I made them for him from Ti. They are 4.5 and 5. I put some new bends in the fronts and I think it will add some clearance.

I do believe I might have to shorten the front uppers a bit but I will find out for sure today cause shocks will be in

That's what I'm shootin for just waitin on Holmes to send me speed control as soon as I get it I'll be ready to wire it I sure wish they would hurry up I'm getin ready to do some tuning sessions

. Well last night I got my shocks together got capmods done and put em on I'm not real sure about what springs to run but med. Front and firm. Rear is where I figured a good start in point would be

Looks good!

My 2 cents seeing I run the same chassis. It may be stuff you are already looking at.
Socks - How long are they? They look a little long. Mine are 3.5" e2e and seem to work great.
Upper links - Lower the fronts to the second from the bottom. They need to be shorter. Try and get them to where your servo plate is level.
Electronics tray - Use 3/8" or 1/2" spacers to drop the tray down.

They are 3.5 in big bores short rod end on front mod caps and long traxxas end on the rear. I have it raised so my bec will fit under it between the pinion housing and elec tray
