Default shock position?

Hello. I was thinking about about how the position of the shock , more or less sloped, afect to the torsion of the car and how the tilt of the shock afect to the shock behaviour.
What do you think?
Thank you.

PD: Excuse me but these are very technical words so perhaps my english is not very good.

If I'm understanding what your asking..

The more slope in the shock, the softer your setup will feel.
Stand them up more vertical and your setup will be stiffer.

I personally like my front shocks a little stiffer, as to hold the chassis solid and planted) and my rear shocks softer an leaned forward, as to let the rear end just follow the line of the rock ur crawling and not push back on the chassis.(specially for side hills and off camber crawling. It really holds tight to the rocks)

Thank you very much!!! This was that I was asking for!!!

And please, let me another question.... more slope in a shock.....how it affect to the articulation of the car (to the front axle respect to the rear axle)?

Thank you

The more you lay the shocks down, the more articulation you will get before the shock bottoms out.

Shocks closer to vertical will afford less articulation.

Also, shocks further outboard on the axle will articulate less, but give stability.

Shocks closer to the center of the axle will articulate more, but can make the car "feel" loose.
