3s Brushless motor upgrade question

I ended up with a couple AX-10 rigs that I have combined into a 4 wheel steer basher that I use for First Person Video. It's really just a fun beater rig that currently runs on 2s. I want to upgrade it to a 3s motor but being a multicopter guy I don't know much about Crawler engines.

The two ESC options I have are a Castle Sidewinder or a Novak Brushless Crawler. What are some good all around motors that will work?

Anyone? I have been searching and reading this forum but there are so many options. In runners, out runners, adapter plates. Hoping I can capitalize of somebody's experience.

My first thought.. Brushless ESC upgrade.. Neither of ur esc's are sensored..

HH 3100kv trailmaster BL is what I'm running in my scx and sons wraith. They have been awesome motors! Then if you decide to upgrade to a sensored ESC, it will be super smooth sensored!

You could give the for sale section a gander as well. Lots of Novak or castle brushless motors in there..

Ur sidewinder, with the use of a external bec, can handle 3s just fine. Like most brushless motors under 3100-3300kv..

I guess with it bein a basher, smooth startup or low speed control isn't a big need?
