Default Loose stearing arms

Just got a set of alum steering arms of ebay.. was not paying attention till it was assembled but the bearings are not super tight creating slop. Has anyone used the green loctight on their bearings? Also think it could use a shim on the stub shaft to take some play out of that.

98 views and not one response.. so for those of you that may find this useful. A little drip of green loctight around the outer bearing, put it together and let everything dry.. Nice and tight now may put a little on the stub shaft just to tighten that up as well.. Green loctight is for holding pressure fit parts together like ball joints and bearings.

Im kinda curious as to what exactly you are talking about. I assome it is an ax10 axle. I associate steering arms with the part on top of the knuckle that connects to the tierod but no bearings there. Are you talking about the knuckles?
Anyway glad you solved your problem. green locktite huh? Have to check that out....

green locktight is a step up from the red which is very tight, i would think that would interfere with the bearings being free! i use thin wide shims between the bearing and the pin on all my ar60 and ax10 set ups, it works great!!

I have used red locktite on the outside of the race & in the seat to suck up some slop before and it worked ok. Gonna have to try the green next time.

Works good.. just got to make sure to just get it on outer ring of bearing and wipe off any excess before it dried. I was thinking of shimming between the pin as well.
