| Motor drag brake?
Hello. I need a little more speed but it has to be a cheap solution!!Now I have a Holmes Hobbies 35T, 20t pinion and a microsidewinder (full drak brake) : Option A. 22T (2 more teeth) and the axial spur 87t (87/22=3.95). Option B: 15T and a 60t spur (both 32pitch) (30/15=3.95) What option do you recomended me? I would like to have the more possible "mechanical drag brake" I donīt know if this change would affect to drag brake of the car or not. Excuse me if my explication is not very clear. Thank you!!!!! |

Your over geared now.. So gearing up more, will take away from drag break.. Gear down, volt up! If your not running 3s, go 3s.. If you are running 3s, go to 4s.. Then again, a few 4s packs and you could buy a new motor.. Catch 22.. |
