If you're really desperate, ther are a couple of shots of Axials' truck in action in the Axial West Coast Championship vid. Look closely at the 3:30 min. and again around 7:35min. Couple of rollovers but looks pretty capable.

The good thing is you get beadlocks so you can try them and swap them for the cost of tires only

The kits come with the original version tires. The original version Lizards are not hard at all. They are soft. The new version Lizards are more sticky. For a production crawling kit, I think the original version tires should work just fine. As it was mentioned before, the kits come with beadlocks, so you can easily switch them out with sticky Lizards or any crawling tire of your choice.

If the tires are the worst thing in the kit. I can live with that just have to buy some tires from RCP with my bonus dollars. sticky rock lizards or losi rock claws or moabs???

Looks like a solid truck, that will get beginners crawling faster than having to piece together a truck. Good job Axial I have personally witnessed Matt's(from Axial)truck crawling at the Axial comp at Donner, and it was as capable as a lot of other trucks there.

I noticed the width of the Wheely King is wider than the Scorpion (about an inch). Is this because of the different tires used or is the Scorpions width maximum allowed in competition?
