I've been lurking for a while now. Used to have Nylint a year or so ago, but I promptly killed it. I've been wanting to get a real crawler, so last Friday I got Axial ARTR. Here's what I started with: Axial AX10 Scorpion ARTR Futaba MS remote Futaba S3003 Servo Integy 45T motor Tazer 15T speed control CKRC split battery pack and axle mount plates Delta charger I killed the piece of junk servo in 1 day (stripped teeth off the plastic gears), so I ordered the Cirrus CS704MG and got it today. It definitely has more power and should work much better, than the one with plastic gears. Here's a pic when I was assembling it. Heres an update to my AX-10..Bought as an RTR..Now using a Futaba Fasst radio system....Moved batt fowared weighted the front and rear axles. using axial soft spings front and rear, bent links front and rear... custom steering link bar that goes over the stock plastic one, it still has play incase I bash a rock but keep the link from bending under hard turning..Pro Line M2 Flat Irons with Memory foam and I painted the stock body so that it would not look like every other rtr body.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...G_2234copy.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...G_2236copy.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...G_2238copy.jpg |
