All aluminum xtrails have shipped and you guys should receive them mid next week. Delrin xts and xtrails are also back in stock for those of you looking for those.

You do not need anything else to run this chassis. I used all stock bolts when I assembled my personal truck.

You can relocate your shocks at the axle with some longer bolts which will be included in the hardware kit that will be available later.

The drivetrain geometry does not change by running this chassis, so any shafts that work with the stock chassis will work with this chassis. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Wow, my x-trail chassis just showed up today! Way to go guys!

The rails look great, no etching, but that's fine, it makes it look more scale. Now I've just got to put the rest of my Axial parts on it and pick out a body. I'll be running TLT axles since I used the AX10 axles on my GC-1.

Once again, great job TCS!

The skid doesn't support that short of a WB. You have to run a new bolt with a small nut on the inside, then use two counter-sunk head screws in the holes that have been drilled for them.

More were ordered last week after we realized how great the demand was going to be. A lot higher volume was ordered this time so hopefully we can stay ahead of the orders.

Anyone have a picture of an anodizied chassis assembled? I still haven't seen one!

I would also like to extend an offer to anyone who is interested. There is currently a 1.9 build off going on, if an X-Trail wins I will give the owner $50 and another X-Trail frame for their next build. This is completely on me, this is not through TCS. I would just like to see some of you owners put some nice details on this chassis.

Hope someone is up to it!

Hey Harley,

I've got mine mocked up, but still need to find a way to attach the top links to my TLT axles.

One thing I noticed when mounting the Axial tranny was that the stock Axial skid plate is flimsy as hell! Any chance you guys might be making a nice delrin skid plate any time soon?

We may look into it, but just by grabbing mine I don't see too many flex issues. When the tranny is in it really strengthens it up too.

Come on guys I need a pic of an assembled chassis, STILL haven't seen one!!!

sheesh i wish would have been paying more attention to this thread...i ordered an X-trail and took it apart to build my 1.9 entry...i would have used it if i known harley was giving out incentives....

somebody better do a build using this chassis...its a really nice chassis...and very affordable and pratical since it uses stock stock links and such.....great work TCS!

I haven't had time to go through the entry list, but I did see one guy using the frame. Hopefully someone takes me up on the offer.

What is the shortest wheelbase easily produced by the X-Trail, either short or long version?

I am working on somewhat of a unique sizes scaler...

Juan, I'm looking forward to seeing your build. I like the rpm wheels and the paint job. The final truck should look sweet!
