Thanks Josh! They work really well too I was so pleased with them yesterday Quote:
All 4 are the fronts. I had already used the rears on my blazer. However the rears would probably work better with the X Trail | ||

| The "prototype testers" where the 3rd or 4th revision of the design, so we had worked out almost all of the bugs already. The production version has a few holes removed up front and the line of holes in the rear moved inwards some to get them away from the edge. Other then that they are the same. As with all products, we will continue to change the chassis if new ideas come up and as customers make suggestions.

| Mine is holding up really well so far. The chassis has some flex in it but alittle bracing goes a long ways. Of course the aluminum version will be superior

| 2.2 TCS X-Trail Prototype
OK, I finally got some run time on my X-Trail long. I first built it with full droop but didn't like the way the rear axle wrapped under the truck. I then tried many different options. I ended up running 90mm shocks on the rear (Jato shocks) and axial shocks drooped on the front. I'am amazed at how well this setup works. I first wanted to try and build this stock out of the box and change things as I go. I would highly recommend other tires as the stock axail tires stink. I going to order Losi rock claws as soon as the are available again. I added weight too each tire 7oz front and 3oz rear. The axial is so light I think it might just need a little more weight. It was awesome with the spring rear and droop front. Heres a few pic for now.
