I just ordered the mud slingers 2.2 and Kreepy narrow 2.2 red and pink foams. Hopefully, the actual kit will arrive soon!

Still waiting on the kit!

I made a roof rack today. This is my first attempt at brazing and I think it turned out ok. I hand bent the rounds so theyre not perfect but it will fly on a semi-scale.

Got the tires, rock rings, and foams today; Mud Slinger 2.2s, Delrin "rounds" rock rings from thecrawlerstore, Kreepy narrows red front/pink rear.

I also tinted the rear windows and added a brow.

Here's the finished product. Still working on the front and rear rock bumpers. I had to remove the front bumper due to "rubbage"

Shortened the wheelbase to fit the tires under the wheel wells.

purdy nice Webdr! Glad to see no green....Haven't stripped mine off yet. Nice work on the body, looks just like the real thing. Keep up the good work....maybe lower the whole thing and convert to droop for some better scale/performance....

that looks great man, i love k5's too.

maybe wheel wideners will allow you to lower the body to keep it more scale without rubbing or trimming

Are you running the axial beadlocks that came with the kit? Did you narrow them or are they the stock width? Are they holding the mudslingers good? I need some rims for my mudslingers but I wasn't sure the axials were narrow enough to keep them looking good. They look nice on the rims you have them mounted on.

Yes, they hold the mudslingers well, they are the stock wheels. How can I lower it w/o lowering the body?

Finally got the front and rear rock bumpers done. Ordered the d-rings and mounts from W-P Marine.

you can take the springsd off and have a full drop setup or you can shorten your shocks to lower it. btw it looks real good

I like the look of springs though. I'd try running softer springs. Maybe some losi springs?

Got a site for those D-rings? Are there different sizes? I'd like some larger ones if possible.
