Default Wheel and tire upgrade

I am about to the point of upgrading wheels and tires for the Ridegcrest. I have decided on running hot bodies sedonas (white compound) for the tires. For the wheels I think I will be going with seem Vanquish SLW wheels. Not sure what Style yet but they look awesome. Anyone have any experience with them? And which hubs would I need fr the ridgecrest?

Also how could I add weight to the wheels?

Default Re: Wheel and tire upgrade

I went with these Hot Racing wheels. As far as the tires I kept the stock ones and cut the foams as shown in the owner's manual. I also added 4 ounces of weight to each wheel, a half ounce to the back of the front axle and a half ounce to the rear of the steering servo. It can climb like mad!

Get stick on weights from Walmart, Sears, etc. and stick them to the inside of the wheel. It sucks to have to remove the tires from the wheels but you can trim your foams at the same time.
