most any body could be a "scale" body. there are a few pictures in the picture thread where you could find them. the ridgecrest is missing the groundwork to be scaler so most people do not bother. check the scx10 threads for the wroncho, they are honcho's with the ridgecrest axles and sometimes 2.2's. a wraith is a more scale version of the ridgecrest and has some scaler looking bodys made to fit around the cage. though it still looks like a cage with a body slapped on.

Besides the axles nothing else on it is very scale.

well to be a true scaler you need either the cage work(wraith style) or frame rails (scx style). the ridgecrest has a twin vertical chassis which is a comp style. even the axels on the ridgecrest are alittle wide for 1/10 scale. most scalers I've seen run 1.9 wheels and the 1.9's on the ar60 axels just look to small.

you can throw a scale body on a ridgecrest and make it look better. teh wheels sticking so far out still look a little odd is your looking for a scale look.

what about the scx10 is it you do not like?

this is not exactly a scale body, but its one of the better lookign ones. is made for a wider short course style rig.

i like scx10 very much, just afraid of the ground clearance.

there are some pretty tall 1.9's out there and you could also switch over to 2.2 wheels and tires if thats all your really going for. they look alittle big for scale... but I've seen some trucks on the street with goofy big tires too. some people like the look.

heres a threat about scx-10's on 2.2 wheels. some look great, others look alittle off. I'm fond of the honcho style with the 2.2 wheels.

Let's see those 2.2 Scx10's
