Default I need a way to tie the "bumpers" to the frame

So, I bought my 2 year old a ridgecrest so he will leave my Wraiths alone, right.....

Ok, so....he loves to pick the ridgecrest up by the body/bumpers and reposition it when he needs to move it. The issue is, he is starting to bend the body. I have been trying to think of a way to tie the hard plastic bumpers into the frame when the body is on the car.

Any suggestions how I can beef up the body so he doesnt tear it up?

for 100 bucks or so you could buy all the wraith parts to convert it.

AXIAL Wraith Chassis w/ Interior pan - $45 bucks for the chassis
Axial Wraith Tube Frame Skid Plate/Battery Tray - 15 bucks for the skidplate (i've seen them combined somewhere)

then all you would need is a wraith transmission or extended outputs on for the scx10 transmission. 40 bucks would prolly get you that.

apart from that, you could remove the bumpers to try and discourage the kid grabbing them? maybe fab up some tubulars that can attach to the stock chassis and extend to the bumpers?

the first link has the battery tray and skid plate already.

i would take them off and start teaching him g6 rules early lol. or jus let him keep picking them up and invest in a different body later one. either one more durable (hard body) or another crest body if you like them. jus my opinions. ive looked to how to mount them to the chassis and never did find a decent way without hacking them up to terrible.

I have two wraiths already - those are mine! I want him to have his ridgecrest as he loves to drive it. I pick it up by the axles but he is only 2 and doesn't get it yet.

Still trying to come up with a way to tie the frame and bumpers together - maybe one solid tube bumper that the body bolts to and then the whole thing attached like normal over the body mounts with pins...

I just don't know how or have the tools to make it.
