Default Did a small suspension mod on my deadbolt

So i just got the AX-10 deadbolt 5 days ago went to a comp and learned alot! everything is still stock except the addition i made to the shocks. The lower the center of gravity the better right? Maybe not but it helps so i took it upon myself to create something different still needs some tweeks but its getting there. So here it is before and after.
Before suspension mod.

After suspension (still had body off working on somethings) still cant get that rear tire off the ground trust me i tried.. i roll over before it happens.

Ride height before:

Ride height after:

The mod:

Added bump stops to the frame so it would not ride on the driveline and gave it some clearance hope you enjoyed looks good but still really need to test it.

The pictures are not that great, but the mod seems really good, could you please take more pictures of it, and from side.

Seen something similar in the scx section.

Think he used a leaf spring shackle as the fixed mount. The extra link pivoted within the shackle, and the shackle served as a stop point. It was setup to increase extension only though

Yep, nothing like a floppy, undamped suspension to gain awesome articulation.

I did a version on my ax10. I cannot post pictures though. I made mine out of solid aluminum tubing and used a pull spring to keep the suspension from getting floppy.

Try and see if you could post some pictures of that mod with the spring.

From what I have seen, that's how you become able to post direct attachments. I don't have a photo hosting account anywhere

Just abit of advice wanna make that beast crawl good, then go to axial's web site and check out Brenders mods for the 2gen AX10's, I did just stage1 and have lately changed the shocks too, But his mods work GREAT!!!!!

give atleast stage 1 a try really does wonders with the over all handling and only cost the price one complete set of shock springs!!!!
