| Dig kit assembly.
So 1st post here. I recently purchased an ax10 deadbolt and atptef to install the axial dig kit the other night. First off I was not aware that I would be neededing to order 2 extra bearings to properly assemble the kit. (Thanks for not mentioning that, Axial.) I have the needed bearings on order now. I pre-assembled the trans. without the bearings to make sure that I didn't need to order anything else. All looks good except for one thing. The rear output shaft that comes in the kit doesn't really have anything to hold it in place. I can only assume that this adding the rear bearing will aid in the shafts retention, but it just doesn't seem like a good design. Is this normal?

Well first off, the Digg kit is designed for the wraith, which has most of the parts needed already. The AX10 deadbolt uses a SCX10 style trans case, similar but not with the exted tail section. Ask in the SCX10 forum here about digg install. |

Also be aware that you may need to shorten the rear drive shaft as the entire assembly will now have a longer shaft in the rear.
