Default First crawler with new body

My dad had a 1970 Chev pickup in factory copper. This Tamiya PS-14 looks just like it. Sorry, I don't know how to resize the pics so there are 4 posts with the pics.

Thanks.
Proline 1970 Chev.
We just centered the body front to rear and wheelwells lines right up perfectly. We then just took a wheel and placed it up against the inside the body and centered in the wheelwell. With marker, we drew a line on outside of body onto the plastic film tracing the outer edge of the wheel. Once that was cut we taped a piece of sandpaper to the outside of a wheel/tire and used it to get the wheelwell perfectly round and match the wheel.

That's cool, must be for the maxx trucks, I have a stampede painted 72 chevy and I don't like how it sits on the deadbolt, happen to know the manufacturer and body number?

I like that look. It was a Proline brand and IIRC it listed to fit a Savage something. I found it at local hobby shop. I found another one like it but it was slightly smaller than this one.

It would've rubbed if we hadn't cut out the wheelwells bigger. The front body mounts had to be redone otherwise the post would've stuck up behind the windshield. The body needed to be about 1/2" further forward than the front posts would allow. I bought some posts from local hobby shop. They were Axial and looked like the stock rears with the "X" brace in the middle except the top was wider than the bottom where it enters the chassis.
I cut the "X" braces out from between the posts.
