Default DIG servo

Hi,
Want to use my reef micro 99 servo on the capra for DIG.

Any one tried a different servo then the lazy spectrum intended to be used by axial?

How did you fit tour servo?

Torq cl0508. Same case as the reefs, probably same internals too. And it comes with the aluminum servo horn in the picture, plus it’s $30 cheaper. Handles up to 8.4 volts. I got mine while searching on amains’s site. You just have to drill out the hole in the horn to fit the stock Capra hardware. Mounts in a set of secondary holes the servo has. Anyone looking to replace their dig servo should look to the helicopter/plane market for whatever their favorite brand is. They have tons of options.

Default DIG servo

Align ds450, used the horn that came with it and the post that came with the Capra. Shorter screw and a nut. No servo saver, just properly set epa. Works flawlessly so far

I should also note I’m running it in a 3 pos using a dx5c radio

Same servo I just put in my Ambushed Goat.I was able to mount it normal although,a snug fit. We'll see how well it holds up.

I’m using the ssd dig mounts. I think they have a bit more material than the stock ones. I didn’t want to grind down the mount just to move it over a little bit and to clear the wires. I took it out the other day and it worked perfectly every time. Super impressive for such a small sevo.

I got a Savox SH-0265MG from AMain and the SSD mounts. I drilled out an included horn and used the bolt and nub from the Capra. Think the servo is working great, but I'm not sure how to get it into dig consistently. If you've got any ideas, let me know.

Start up with 4WD engaged instead of freewheeling?
