| Question on Reef's 777
Since this is a direct battery servo, can it be installed right into a rtr capra still running the stock esc without the need of a BEC? Any other issues to watch out for putting this in with stock electronics? Thanks in advance |

I don't see why it wouldn't? It would require soldering the appropriate JST-RCY connector to the battery leads on the esc.

I don't have the Reef's version but I've got one of the HH V3's in my Capra, very capable and will lead me to only use direct power servos in the future.

Welcome to the site. Avoid the Reef's and get a Holmes SHV500v3 instead if you can. You will get a much higher quality and better customer support from Holmes Hobbies.

.....or get the servo from the guys which actually build them ;) https://www.agf-rc.com/sa86bvmw-smar...-p2567967.html Question for me would be : Do you actally need a 60kg servo in a Capra ?? I dont think so. Last edited by themountain; 07-02-2020 at 12:48 PM. |
