Kinda what i was afraid of with the rear truss hitting chassis about 1/4" from full compression. Oh well while it may not be that big a deal & it does work but I will just use Dlux front U4 truss on f&r if it works out! Then its just a plug & play away from 4ws

Ya know just to be clear it works & has no issues if you run stock shock lengths. Im runnin 103mm on rear & after running it a lil i see lil to no issues at all!!! Plus if ya look vlose at truss ya could cut straight accross link holes trimming the height down a tad & lowering links...we will see how it ends up.

Gonna try to modify stock tires by removing inner webbing like Clay at cfm did on his thread. They really softened up alot! Throw some dual stage in em on some ci wheels to see how they do?

Still need to sand down a lil but ya get the idea

I did get some stuff but not all...
BDN omf wideners!!!

Nice product with very tight tolerance for great fit! I can't believe how easy it is to mount tires now even the pita swampers I will be ordering more of these asap! Now just need 225-350 hubs to have same track width as before with wideners installed is creates offet change...but gives a shit you can mount tires & ci foams the way they should be.

More testin couple days ago & everything held up great until it happened!!!
The HH servo started twitchin after a very mild fall. No need for pics of bad servo but did get a coupke before it died...

I started to use Dlux f&r trusses but had issues with rear fitting(due to hittin chassis before full compression) & simply didnt like the front.
So I decided to go with what i know works since I borrowed it from another rig!!!!!
Front...

The rear...

Oh yeah thats a 1256tg savox with 277oz which is not gonna cut it so it will get replaced! Now it's time to swap trans...

Fits np with interior but like DMG mentioned rx box has to go!

Had to remove the 6mm extended output from front to get better driveline angle. The rear has 6mm with yeti shaft & wraith 5mm mip & it works!
Just rebuilt with Hd gears,6mm extended rear output,VP case,56t evader spur

The pro4 4000kv will be just fine til new motor gets in.

Very nice. Hard to tell from the angle but it also looks like there's more rear motor clearance than there is with the Wraith skid.

There is because Jerry's plate moves trans forward much as possible! & the weight is now at front of skid instead of middle to rear...

That's awesome. I'm just about ready to start my second bomber build using his plate and can't wait to see how it evolves compared to my first. I'm really going to try hard to build this next one to be a dedicated crawler. Somehow my first just insisted on being fast.

Yes. They end up fast. Been working on mine to slow her down some. Basically chopping throttle curve at the end. But hard to develop a nice tech crawl speed with the puller 3300.

Got this thing put back together for now just to run to & see whats next...
The RX8,rec,bec is all tucked up under dash. Prob gonna fab a plate to cover from seeing underneath & keep the nasty out!

So far everything is just fine as far as fitment. Now gotta get it back in action to see performance changes good or bad

I got to run a lil today with the Bomber!!! It was amazing the difference it made with the DMG adapter plate to accept the scx/wraith trans! There is barely any torque twist at all, so in return it crawls much better keeping tires planted up front!!! I absoluty love this rig now

This spot is very difficult but nothing for the bomber

ya can see the pit bulls working great with new foam setup (dd 6" med) on 1" wheels.

That's excellent news on the DMG plate. Just need to get mine finished up so I can try it out. Those are great actions shots too man, keep 'em coming.

What servo mount do you use? I built a plate for a servo winch for mine and the servo touches it at full compression. I also am running big bore shocks so the ride height is lower that doesn't help.

Thanks
Frank

Both motors are really good cans!!!! I am running a pro4 4000kv now til other motor gets in. I was running a HH trailmaster 3100kv which was awesome but did notice low end was not as smooth vs the roc or pro4. The newer puller pro's are 4POLE but the only one i have is the 3500XL in my yeti which hardly gets run slow so testing low end vs others i haven't done.

We see soon
