Default Silly question

I just picked up a set of Dlux titanium link set and on the front lower links it has a slight bend. I assumed the bend has the link bending down towards the front axle but it appears to bind on the front drive shaft. I switched the links upside down and no more clearance issues but the link sit lower than I think they should.

So just trying to see if I have them mounted correctly or not?

They should bend down towards the axle.
Is the bend right in the middle of the link or offset?
If offset, perhaps try it the other way.

We're the links designed for the Bomber?

Yes they are for the bomber. The bend is offset.

I'll try swapping he bend towards the skid. The pictures on Dlux just doesn't show it clearly.

Single bend.

Disregard guys. I flipped them back up and they clear just barely. When the truck was apart it seemed there was no way they would clear but once everything was back together they do.

I have the Dlux links as well and you are correct, they barely clear the drive shaft. Maybe 1mm clearance. It doesn't seem to make contact at any point in articulation but damn its snug. Love them though, great fit and finish!

I just installed these and the UCFAB trailing arms on my Bomber. I had similar concerns about the links binding, but with the bend towards the axle and down they are fine. I did use one 3mm washer per ball to shim the balls on the skid towards the center and the balls on the axle towards the knuckles to maximize the clearance against the mounts. I shimmed the balls on the trailing arms too, and found that the Traxxas stainless balls are a better fit than the Axial plastic balls in the UCFAB arms slot for the shocks.
