Default OK....couldn't resist any longer bought a Bomber

Alright......After procrastinating for months, I finally took the plunge and purchased a Bomber from my LHS.

Pretty much all I've done with it is mess with the shocks a bit and I ordered a complete link kit by VP Incision from RPP. As some of you know the shocks don't seem to come properly filled with fluid. My front and rear shocks were all only half way full (barely). For the fronts, I emptied them and refilled with some Losi 30wt and on the rear I emptied and refilled with some Losi 50wt. With the springs adjusted I feel that I have a pretty decent setup as far as the suspension goes, for now atleast. I have the same amount of droop front to rear and the dampening seems evened out now.

Here's a few shots of me putting it through it's paces at the RRW Krawlzone in Belleview, FL.

I was apprehensive to pick up a Bomber, only because I've owned Wraiths in the past and I'm not really a big fan of them. I'll tell you what though, I am thoroughly satisfied with this new rig. Axial did a outstanding job on this and I am very happy that I picked one up, so happy in fact.....we purchased a second Bomber from RRW for my wife!

Grats. That's awesome. RRW Krawlzone looks like a bad ass place.

I have offered a Bomber to my girl. Chanel and Cartier don't make accessories. I told her Vanquish is the "Cartier" of the RC world and just got a big a "meh" from her.

I was able to get some work done on the bomber over the last few days, here and there.

Assembled the new Incision Links

Dropped the skid / suspension / links out of the chassis and got all the new links all installed. Also installed a basic aluminum servo horn for now and put a Airtronics receiver in the electronics box so that I can use my MT4 with this rig.

While installing the links I noticed that there was side to side play at the rod ends once installed, so I used a 3mm flat washer at each rod end mounting point to shim them and make them nice and tight.

My Axial sway bar kit came along with my Vanquish trailing arms, got those items all installed as well. While I was at it, I painted a few things, just to give the Bomber a little "pop" and some scale looks.

I'm super happy with the link kit and trailing arms. The sway bar seems a little stiff, but I'll see how it performs when I hit the rocks again.

I would like to thank Barndog Racing for the AWESOME aluminum body panel kit that showed up at my door this afternoon! Excellent AMERICAN MADE quality pieces, these will be going on my Bomber shortly!

Alright....took about 5 whole minutes to install the Barndog Racing aluminum panel kit, the pieces fit like a glove.

Whole new look for this rig.
