160* is nothing. I've read 214 on the side of my old Holmes

Did you read the post I quoted? He said 160 is nothing and he's seen 214 on his motor.

A motor is going to run at whatever temp it chooses to. 3300kv geared 14/64 on 3s... nothing crazy. It's always right around 200 after a 45ish minute run.

If you aren't geared weird or binding, run it. It takes a lot to let the smoke out of a motor.
