| Question about stock plastic C's and knuckles
I don't have a Bomber, but I do have a large scale jeep that has narrowed AR60 axles under it. I'm interested in the double shear knuckles that apparently come on the Bomber and monster truck. They look a bit different from the Wraith version because they don't have the provision for the small bolt on steering arms. My question is- how well are the stock plastic pieces holding up? I need to re-design the front end of my Jeep, the small bolt on steering arms ( for the wraith application) don't hold up well to my 14 lb rig, I'm guessing that the double shear mount might fare a bit better. I would plan on bolting the drag link on top of the double shear arm. Also, how well to the standard issue Revo balls fit into the tie rod end opening on the knuckle? Thanks for any feedback. |

I don't think the plastic C-hub and knuckles stay on very long. It may have a better design but it's still plastic and 14lbs is a lot Almost everyone swap over to the VP Stage 1 kit, VP scale C-hub and knuckles or the SSD aluminium combo. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

I concur, 14# ‘s is a heavy beast, I run the VP, but the SSD or GPM should also work Hang up and Drive |

I've beat on my Bomber pretty good and the stock plastics have held up so far. I bought a VP kit but never swapped it on yet since it hasn't broken (knock on wood). Traxxas rod ends fit tight in mine as well. I stretched out a few Axial garbage ends before switching over. |

Thanks for the replies. The idea behind the plastic parts is to just see if they can be made to work before spending $$$ on aluminium pieces. Does anyone have any stock parts they want to get rid of ? |
